Privacy Policy

TriClue is a word-puzzle game. Gameplay remains available offline and is stored locally, while selected results and quality signals sync through a pseudonymous Firebase account whenever a network connection is available.

Data stored on your device

  • In-progress puzzle state, completed history, statistics, streaks, and Endless session state.
  • Cached puzzle packs so the game works offline.
  • Your notification reminder schedules and preferences.

Data processed when the app is online

  • A pseudonymous player ID. Anonymous accounts can be upgraded with sign-in without creating a separate profile.
  • Completed Daily results, attempt records, aggregate profile counters, and puzzle-quality signals used to improve the catalog.
  • Puzzle reports and feedback you explicitly submit, including any optional contact address you provide.
  • Push tokens and notification preferences only when you opt into notifications.

Purchases and advertising

RevenueCat manages purchase status using an app user ID. Apple or Google processes payments; TriClue does not receive your payment card details.

Free players may see Google AdMob advertising. Google and consented partners may process device identifiers, IP-derived approximate location, ad interactions, and diagnostics for delivery, measurement, fraud prevention, and personalization where allowed. Buying Remove Ads or TriClue Pro disables automatic ads and preloading.

What we do not do

  • We do not sell personal data.
  • We do not read your contacts, photos, precise location, or microphone.
  • We do not use an independent third-party analytics SDK.

Your choices

  • Play offline; cloud sync resumes later without blocking local play.
  • Turn off notifications and revisit advertising privacy choices from Settings.
  • Use the feedback form to request deletion of cloud records.
  • Restore purchases without creating an account.

Children

TriClue is intended for general audiences and does not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.
